Not so long ago, Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney was suffering from hair loss in his mid-20s, but after having it seen to, it seems he is enjoying styling his brand new thatch.
Pictures of the sports star standing with pop artist Shakira at Fifa’s Ballon d’Or gala were published in the Sun yesterday (January 9th).
With his balding gone after having hair loss treatment last year, the 26-year-old had teased his locks into what the newspaper described as a “Morrissey-style quiff”.
The footballer lost out to 19-year-old Brazilian footballer Neymar da Silva Santos Junior when it came to the Puskas award for best goal of the year and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi took the Fifa Ballon d’Or.
But Rooney could be seeing more accolades in the future, as media reports suggested the player was more confident on the pitch after paying thousands of pounds for a transplant last year.
The star is not going through hair loss problems alone, it seems, as pictures of his wife Coleen with thinning hair were recently published in the Daily Mail.
